Special Edition Killerwhale
This glass totem is one of David Montpetit's major works. This is a very small edition, in a run limited to 75. It is a massive glass totem, with many interesting features that conventional photos are unable to showcase. The most striking of these features are the cutting and bending of the glass. Portions of the image are cut out, creating an open negative space. The head of the orca is also off the regular image plane -- bent outwards towards the viewer.
