David Montpetit is an accomplished glass sculptor, working and living in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has worked with a number of world-renowned artists, helping their images and ideas come into reality through his expertise with glass.
Over the years, David has honed his art and skill, becoming a pre-eminent artist in his own right. At Images, we are fortunate to have access to much of his work, with particular emphasis on his glass totems. Using his own original designs, David has created a very unique series of sculpture which straddles borders of medium and design. The glass totems are available in three different editions.
These totems are the smallest in size, standing 9" to 10" high and 6" wide. These are available in five different designs, and run in an open edition. They make exceptional presentation pieces, and can easily accomodate a small engraved plate on the base. Price: $200.00 CAN
David's limited editions feature the designs shown in the Presentation Edition. These pieces usually run in a limited edition of 250, and may include a run of up to 25 Artist's Proofs. Although they are a limited edition, the nature of sculpting glass ensures that no two pieces are the same, each piece having a unique influence from the artist. These totems are generally 17" to 19" tall, and 10" to 12" wide. Price: $550.00 CAN

These stunning pieces are of many sizes, generally starting at about 30" tall and 20" wide. They can contain single or multiple figure totems, and contain may be bent or shaped in ways that are surprising for such large pieces of glass. Prices vary with each piece, so please inquire.
